This is a very easy dinner I made from a French cookbook the other night, it's very simple and the ingredients are really interchangeable based on what you have. Here's a quick rundown:
- Cook beef sausages in a pan over medium heat with 2 tbs butter (we used Polish kielbasa instead) until brown and cooked through
- Remove from pan, add 2 chopped onions, salt and pepper and 2 tbs flour and cook until soft
- Add 2 carrots, 2 branches of celery, 3 potatoes (all cut into large pieces) and 750 mL can of beef broth, bring to a boil, cover and lower heat for about 10-15 minutes until vegetables are soft **the beef broth will be exactly this amount if you get the small can, not the carton or the bigbig cans***
- Add sausages and cook, stirring, until sauce thickens, remove from heat, add fresh parsley and that's it!
