This is Basque duck stew, called "garbure" that we had in Gavarnie, served in a big pot family style. When we got seconds, there was actually a square of pig skin, complete with hair and all (as I already talked about in one of my vlogs!). The soup was really really good and was perfect because we were all a bit chilly. The dessert is some type of blueberry tart, with a puff pastry base. The blueberry part is sort of gelatinized which I didn't really like that much, but it was still pretty good anyway.
(Also, did you wish on 11:11:11 11/11/11? Because I sure did. The most epic wish of my life and I was lucky enough to make it in France!!)
