Rain Rainy Rain

It's been raining steadily since I arrived in sunny southern California. Yesterday, it rained so hard that there were flash flood warnings and every street was flooded. I took a video of one such street while we were at a stoplight and it was crazy! The whole sidewalk was gone! I know it rains this hard for long periods of time in Amherst and Boston but streets don't flood because they're generally well-drained. So pretty much, southern California is only equipped to handle heat, and that's about it.
