French Food Friday

Roast chicken and potatoes
Apple tart/pie

This lovely food is all from our trip to Gargas and St.-Bertrand-de-Comminges. We had a group lunch at this farmhouse with a rustic, French countryside meal in six courses. It started with soup (which I forgot to take a photo of before eating it), then went to salad, the entrée, the cheese course, the dessert and finally coffee and chocolate. I didn't partake of all of them naturally but what I did have was delicious. When we got to the place, the chicken was actually roasting on a spit outside. Awesome, much?
