Birthdays

It was a lady in my class's birthday today and so we celebrated, truly French style. My professor made a honey and almond cake (two, actually), another lady brought in a Russe, and the birthday girl made empanadas. Then, we proceeded to sing Happy Birthday to her in six different languages (French, English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese). The cake was soooooo good, like I will get the recipe and make it for all of you when I get back to America because everyone should experience that flavor at least once in their lives.

I love birthdays, France, birds, and finishing my homework quickly, which is what I need to do right now.
