Treacle Tart

I held a little Potter Party at my cousin's house, which ended up just being me and one of my cousins and his wife. And it turned more into a British food party than Harry Potter. But anyway, I made pumpkin pasties (which taste like personal pumpkin pies), a British beef stew with herb dumplings, and a this treacle tart all out of The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook. Treacle tart is essentially just corn syrup, bread crumbs and lemon juice. Technically it should be light treacle or golden syrup which I imagine would slightly change the taste, but it was really good! Definitely very weird and definitely a strange texture, especially for a dessert, but it was good!
