Today when I was driving to work, I became the subject of a hallucination. And by that, I mean a semi truck decided that the car he was driving past (mine) was really just a figment of his imagination, so he could pull over into my lane without causing a terrible accident or anything.
Fortunately, my instinct was to simultaneously honk, hit the brakes and say some not very nice things about him.
After commuting for three months now, I think I can say pretty confidently that not looking over your shoulder when you change lanes can cause a lot of accidents. People, your car has a blind spot whether you acknowledge it or not! Especially if you're a big 18 wheeler.
