This is just a random photo of the Fountain of Neptune at Versailles, scary fish, right? I had a mid-term in my European politics class. Intensive electives blow because you have a mid-term after a week and a half of classes. I am pretty sure I taught that test a lesson though, so don't worry, it didn't get off scot-free. I had dinner at my friend's house tonight, we ate hot dogs and gorged on Snickers barres glacées (ice cream bars!).
But now I am in the midst of packing for our overnight trip to Spain and debating on whether to bring a small suitcase or just my backpack. The problem is that my snacks and water bottle don't fit in my backpack with my clothes and towel and stuff so I would have to carry it separately and plastic Wal-mart bags don't exist here. I think I'm gonna go ahead and take the suitcase, just in case I decide to buy stuff while I'm there. You never know when you'll come across something awesome... Thank you for deciding that with me.
Lately I have felt like I have too many things to do and not enough time at all! And never enough sleep. But I'm in France so if it's a choice between hanging out with my host family for three hours or studying for a test, obviously I've got to pick the first one! Haha, oh France, how you encourage my irresponsibility.
