Patriot's Day

I love Patriot's Day. Why? And what is it?

Well, it's an excuse for New England to take a day off to let everyone go run in the Boston Marathon, which is also shown on TV. I remember last year on the day of the marathon, Cal and I went somewhere on the T (Boston's subway/rail system) and saw tons of people wearing participation medals and jackets. Boston University is almost required to close campus because part of the marathon is run down Commonwealth Ave, which is basically the campus.

Anyway, I love Patriot's Day because I get a three-day weekend just because and it is marvelous.
