Holiday Baking Food Time

Since it's holiday time and Cal and I went grocery shopping yesterday, I got the cooking bug when we got home. I made fudge (and Calvin helped!) with the aid of the Carnation Fudge Kit where everything you need is in the box except for two tablespoons of butter. It literally took ten minutes from start to finish, not including time for the fudge to firm, and it is amazing! Seriously it's great. Everyone should go make some. 

After that, I wanted to make some cookies for my French literature class which had its last meeting today, but after baking them, decided that maybe they would be of better use just staying with me and Cal. And thus begins the Season of Plenty (of good, high calorie food).
