Jill Reviews: The Unbearable Lightness of Being

During the summer, I read the novel by Milan Kundera, The Unbearable Lightness of Being. I first heard of this book through one of my political science classes I took at UC Berkeley. We read a chapter of it as it related to how an individual relates with a source of power, but the book has so many more dimensions than that. It combines philosophy, social commentary and a love story all in one. And, to top it off, it's a quick read. If you're looking for something interesting to read, check this out first.

Don't be daunted by the first few pages, you'll see how they are relevant later after the story gets started. Good luck!
