Yesterday, I had an exam at 9 AM that I had to be on time for. I was all ready to go and went out early to wait for the bus.
One minute...
Five minutes...
Ten minutes...
I give up waiting and start to walk. However by this time it's 8:58 AM and the fifteen/twenty minute walk to school means I will be late. As I later found out, the transportation workers all went on strike and so no buses were running in the whole city until 5 PM. I ended up getting a zero on the first part of my test, but at least the garbage collectors here haven't striked like they are in Greece..... yet.
